Interview Ryan Forehan Kelly, Brest - May. 7, 2006 - by Maxime Weber
Ryan Forehan-Kelly (197-F/G-80, agency: Interperformances, college: California) speaks about his season with Brest for EuroBasket.com
EuroBasket : Last season you played in China and this year in France with Brest. What
are, if any, the main differences between the two leagues?
Ryan Forehan Kelly: In China, there are younger players and just one American per team, so the
game looks different because young players contribute a lot to the game. In
France, there are four Americans and the players come from everywhere. So I
think in France we play more European game. In China, we play a NBA game.
EuroBasket: How do you personally feel about your season (17 games, 16 ppg, 4 rpg, 29 mpg)?
Ryan Forehan Kelly: I think my season has been OK, but I've just wished to contribute more to
help my team. The first half of the season I was injured, and after I came back I got hurt again! However, I have had a good time here. I think it's a good
league, good competition.
EuroBasket: Do you want stay in France next season?
Ryan Forehan Kelly: I'm pretty much open to wherever. If I've got a good offer, good team, good
situation, I go with them
